What is Power Yoga class?
Power yoga does not seek to burn fat; the idea is to correct posture by aligning our joints, making our spine more flexible and strengthening muscles not used in other disciplines. In addition, yoga is recognized for combining physical and mental wellness through slow, gentle exercises of breathing, body alignment and concentration- essential for well-being.
POWER YOGA VS PILATES
The set of physical and mental disciplines and practices whose objective is to achieve a balance between body and mind, as a way to reach enlightenment and union with the Absolute. As such, the word comes from the Sanskrit word "yoga", which means 'union', 'effort'.
In a power yoga class, a series of exercises and stretches are performed to improve the body's balance, integrating movement and breathing. With this and with the way we practice in our gym power yoga we achieve physical and mental well-being. The class consists of: postures, relaxation, meditation, etc.
